Or you can relax on a lovely boat trip up the rivers Fal and Helford from Falmouth. You can even take a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly.
Cornwall still has fishing ports with some of the biggest being Looe, Mevagissy, Newlyn, St. Ives, Newquay and Padstow. If you enjoy walking there is a beautiful costal path to explore. Or take a walk on the wild side and visit Bodmin moor with many interesting features. For cyclists Cornwall has several cycle routes and the mineral trail cycle track nearby has cycle hire

For art lovers there is the Tate at St. Ives with its many art shops and one of the most scenic rail journeys in the country. For those interested in our maritime heritage there is the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth
